Discover the aborigine legacy in the resort, evident in the architecture of the ranch, which resembles pre-Columbian structures of the Borucas, a former chiefdom of the region. Each bungalow is built on stilts; the rooftops are rhomboid in shape, high, slanted and with ample eaves. On the upper part of the walls, screens ease natural ventilation and also allow the sounds of the surroundings to come inside, day and night (Ex. the running stream, the rainforest animals, the rainfall and thunder, and much more). Ventilation is aided with a ceiling fan and a dehumidifier.

Maximizing the use of natural lighting is also a key practice. The fourth bungalow has a queen-sized pull-out or trundle bed in addition to the King bed which increases the sleeping capacity to 4, however this unit does not have a private deck or outdoor shower.

The communal facilities, also equipped for disabled persons, include the incredible reception/dining hall, a salt-water swimming pool, a massage room, gardens and dedicated parking space. Held together by thick wooden beams, the Satu Ranch (reception/dining hall) prides itself in being the emblem of the lodge. Its design is a modern take on the circular houses of the pre-Columbian ‘Boruca’ aborigines.
