Two oversized mirroring staircases lead to the upstairs suites complete with artistic hand-crafted metal railings with bamboo design and wood handrails.  Plus wood inlays for the border of each step adds to the sophisticated blend of natural materials and the numerous intricate details of Casa Bambú.

OUTDOOR SPACE AND INFINITY POOL

Three openings of glass doors flow to the exterior living spaces with the middle one folding away completely with a span of 14 feet (4.25 meters).  The expansive covered terraces have a teak dining table for 10 people and 2 custom wood sofas plus 1 love seat with comfortable cushions.  Plus a small high-top table with chairs and an additional pair of oversized chairs with cushions. All solid wood and all custom made for these specific spaces.

The infinity-pool is tiled with individual 4×4 inch (10×10 cm) pieces of marble.  The pool deck is tiled with a local coralina that is textured for anti-slip and also does not get hot in the sun.  The robust solid concrete columns are also encased with the same corolina tiles for an enhanced aesthetic.  Below the pool is a hot tub with Royal Veta stone tile and ergonomically designed seating for 10 people.  A teak and stone outdoor shower can be closed off for privacy and ideal for rinsing off when coming from the beach.

The rancho outdoor covered BBQ and bar area is fully equipped for the ultimate in entertaining.  BBQ grill and cook top with stainless steel fridge, sink and Guapinol hardwood slab bar top plus solid wood bar stools.  The Palmex roof material is long lasting synthetic palm thatch allowing for the tropical look; while eliminating the upkeep of replacing thatch palm material every couple years.

5 BEDROOMS AND 5 BATHROOMS

Casa Bambú is equipped with 4 principal suites all identical in size, but each unique in theme, color tones, and detailed finishes.  All the bedrooms have a king size bed, air conditioning, walk in closets, and unique ventilation that can be opened for natural airflow or closed when using the A/C.  All bedrooms include ensuite bathrooms complete with shower and soaking tub.  No one will feel as though they got a lesser bedroom and all family and guests will be indulged with their own private sanctuary. The bonus 5th room could be an office, bedroom for kids with bunk beds, game room, gym or media room.

Café Azul (Blue Café) – Northside 1st floor

This suite opens to the spacious back porch and infinity pool deck.  Soothing colors of clear blues and off whites inspired by the sea and sky.  The bathrooms features a walk-in rain shower and full size garden tub.  The translucent “Lumen Granite” counter top is under lit for a soft glowing night-light feature.

Madera y Roca (Wood & Rock) – Southside 1st floor

This principal ground floor bedroom opens to the other side of the huge covered terrace and the side of the pool with two comfortable chairs and the rancho.  The motif of this room is natural wood and stones with back drop of greenish hues.  The solid Guapinol headboard is a work of art with live edges and elaborate curves.  The bathroom also has a rain shower and natural stone features of a carved sink and an incredible 2-person soaking tub carved into a giant boulder set with in a private courtyard with privacy wall.

Pajaro Elegante (Elegant Bird) – Northside 2nd floor

This upstairs bedroom accessed by its own extra wide staircase offers expansive ocean, Dominicalito point, tree island, and mountain views from its own private balcony.  Sculptures of exotic birds above the king size bed set the theme for this suite.  The on-suite bathroom includes a soaking tub, rain head walk-in shower, polished onyx sink, as well as, “Velvet Onyx” translucent counter top with under lighting for a glowing effect in the evenings.

Hojas Verdes (Green Leaves) – Southside 2nd floor

At the top of the other expansive staircase is the 4th principal suite.  This room’s balcony has views all the way to up the coast to Manuel Antonio and surrounding lush rainforest covered mountains.  Tropical green hues of the jungle are the inspiration for this bedroom and bathroom with “Emerald Green” granite counter top, walk-in rain shower, and bathtub.  Custom cedar wood furniture, tribal carvings on the wall, and carved solid wood sea shells complete the intricacies of this bedroom.
